Boston Protesters Knock Down Historical Monument to Black Lives

As much as I support the movement for BLM, at least the peaceful protest, it is absolutely ridiculous to see how people will just jump on the bandwagon to vandalize stuff. They don't even study what they're vandalizing for a lot of the things, and this one particular thing shows it.
A couple weeks ago in Boston, a Black Lives monument was torn down. The monument, built in 1897, was called the Robert Gould Shaw and Massachusetts 54th Regiment Memorial. Now look, I'm all about the peaceful protesting for BLM. I even see why people are starting rioting with it, and taking down Confederate Statues. But this statue was one that was created to show the heroism of black lives and the great history of them. Why would you vandalize this monument? Is it part of people joining the bandwagon and using the movement just to vandalize? Are people not using their research on the monuments, and destroying them without having any knowledge of what the actual meaning behind what the monument is?
Look, I don't support the destroying of public property. No matter it be a police car, a business, a building, or a monument. But please, if you're going to destroy something, make sure you have a genuine meaning behind it or have done your research, because honestly, it really upsets me to see people doing this.
